Approval factors

What may affect final pricing

Final review is designed to clarify scope before approval. These are the most common factors Brissart reviews before confirming a closing request.

Pool type

Inground or above-ground layout may affect winter prep, setup, and final approval.

Estimated gallons / assigned tier

Tier is based on estimated gallonage, which determines the starting price structure.

Heater or special equipment

Heaters, automation, or added equipment can change preparation scope and approval needs.

Attached spa or extra water features

Spas, fountains, or added water features may require deeper review before final approval.

Water condition / debris

Heavy debris or unstable water can affect scope, add-ons, and final review before closing.

Plumbing complexity

Extra lines, special plumbing runs, or unusual winterization needs may change final pricing.

Travel outside standard service area

Zone 3 and outside-area requests may require manual review and travel adjustments.

Special requests or quote-only work

Non-standard tasks or extra requests may be reviewed and approved separately.

Manual review

Manual review may be required

Some closing requests may require manual review before final approval. This usually applies to pools with attached spas, added features, unusual equipment, access limitations, or requests outside our standard service area.

Travel fees may apply outside our standard service area.

  • Manual review protects scope before winter shutdown approval.
  • Zone 3 and outside-area jobs may be reviewed case by case.

FAQ

Questions homeowners usually ask

Quick answers for common closing questions before you request your quote.

What is the difference between Pool Closing and Pool Closing Plus?

Pool Closing covers the standard seasonal shutdown scope. Pool Closing Plus adds deeper support and a more complete winter-prep follow-up.

How is closing pricing calculated?

Closing pricing starts from the assigned tier based on estimated gallons, then final review may consider equipment, features, complexity, and service area.

Are add-ons like antifreeze or heater isolation always included?

Not always. Add-ons depend on the system, equipment, plumbing layout, and what Brissart recommends after reviewing the request.

Do you work on above-ground and inground pools?

Yes. Brissart works on residential inground and above-ground pools, subject to scope, condition, and service-area review.

Does every closing request get approved immediately?

No. Some requests need manual review first, especially if there is a spa, extra features, unusual equipment, access limitations, or extended travel.
